consider the two identical cubes in Fig. 1 (one cube generated in a CAD software, that the copy shifted in space).
Two identical set of meshing parameters are used for surface meshing, running mmg on disk. See Fig. 2
Two different surface grids are generated. See Fig. 3
Why?
