I am a new user of MMG3D and I am using a mixed grid of both structured and non-structured hexa and prism cells to mesh a computation domain with 1 periodic direction (using GMSH). I would like to remesh the volume composed of non-structured cells with MMG3D using pseudocolor map of results from a previous computation. I need to keep the same mesh topology at the interface between the structured and non-structured cells (conformity of the mesh) but to avoid imposing constraints on the face that are in the periodic direction (to enable their remeshing according to the pseudocolor map). Is this possible?
