I use mmgtools for generating a quality surface mesh of a watertight triangulation, without
self intersecting triangles.
Can (or cannot) the resulting mmg surface have self intersection?

Hello,
Normally, if the input is watertight (conforming elements with no self intersections/superpositions/cracks) then the output is watertight too.
