Impossible Metric Intersection

I am doing anisotropic 3d adaptations and recently I am providing a metric file but due to some reason , I am getting the following error:
WARNING IMPOSSIBLE INTERSECTION : SURFACIC METRIC SKIPPED
/home/ankit/Downloads/mmg-master/src/mmg3d/anisosiz_3d.c:1192:Error: unable to intersect metrics at point 34.

Metric undefined. Exit program.

Can any body help in this regards.

Is it possible to join your mesh and associated metric (you can do it in a private message if you prefer)?

Yes I can join my mesh and associated metric, It generally works for most cases but fails when I prescribe very less number of DOfs in the system which in turn prescribe the metric.
